Q. Why are Ultimate Arch Orthotics better than other products?
A. Ultimate Arch Orthotics are as unique as your own foot. Since we measure each foot and adjust the orthotics for correction they fit and support like no other insole can – custom or generic.
Q. Where can I purchase my Ultimate Arch Orthotics?
A. Through the mail, fax, website or at a promotional event. Just call the office number or email and we can let you know if and when we will be in your area.
Q. What are Ultimate Arch Orthotics made of?
A. Ethylene Vinyl Acetate – A surgical type nylon that is comfortable and very resistant to breakdown.
Q. What kinds of shoes will Ultimate Arch Orthotics fit into?
A. Practically any shoe and you generally do not have to CHANGE shoe size. Ultimate Arch Orthotics sit flat and are flexible, therefore making it easy to move them from a sneaker to a high heel or work boot. If your shoe fits now, and is not too tight, it should be able to accommodate the inserts.
Q. If my shoes already have insoles, will I need to remove them?
A. The only time your shoe should need modifying is if they have a large arch support in the insole. If this is the case, just remove the whole show insert and cut the built up arch away so that you have a completely flat insole.
Q. Will it take me a long time to get used to my new orthotics?
A. Generally, most people take 1-2 weeks when they have never worn an insert before. Even if you’ve worn store bought ones, you are used to having something in your shoe. We send a detailed break in sheet with every pair of orthotics ordered.
Q. How long can I expect my Ultimate Arch Orthotics to last?
A. We provide a LIFETIME GUARANTEE against wear. If they ever lose their form or shape, we will replace them free.
Q. How long will it take to get my orthotics?
A. As soon as we receive the casting box back from our customers, we start work on your orthotics. Depending on how busy it is in the office, generally one week turn around time is needed. We will ship your finished orthotics Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
Q. Can I use the orthotics in more than one pair of shoes?
A. It is recommended!! From high heels to hiking boots! After the initial break in period and when you are comfortable
Q. Can I exercise in my orthotics?
A. It is recommended! After the initial break in period and after you are comfortable wearing them everyday. Running, jogging, hiking, at the gym, tennis, golf – any activity in which you are asking your feet to work!
Q. I love my Ultimate Arch Orthotics, do I have to go through the measurement process again to get another pair and will they cost the same?
A. No. Your measurements are on file. We can make as many pairs as you want AND we offer a discounted price on additional sets. Just call or email us and let us know the date of your original purchase.
Q. I know that my right leg is shorter than my left leg by 1/4″, can you accommodate this difference?
A. Yes. Please specify a heel lift on the shorter leg (in this case right) by the amount you need. Please note that this is done as a service to our customers. Ultimate Arch Orthotics does not assume liability for incorrect information from customers.
Q. Can orthotics fix flat feet or severely high arches?
A. No. Ultimate Arch Orthotics will just make the flat feet or high arches work like healthy feet, putting the natural shock absorbers (arches) back to work. Flat feet and high arches have arches; they just don’t work properly without some help.
Q. I received orthotics from my doctor. What is the difference between Ultimate Arch Orthotics and the orthotics I received from the doctor?
A. Are the orthotics you received from your doctor WORKING? Some people have to try many, many products before they find the one that works for them. If your inserts are not made right, they can cause other problems than you originally had. We provide a SATISFACTION GUARANTEE on our orthotics. We do not have a refund policy, but we will adjust the orthotics until they do work.
Q. Will my insurance cover my orthotics?
A. Not likely as most insurance companies don’t. You need to check your individual plan. Please contact us and we’d be happy to look into it for you.
Q. I have very wide or narrow feet; can you make orthotics for me?
A. Yes we can.
Q. How do I care for my orthotics?
A. Hot, soapy water. Wash them often and do not allow dirt to cake up on them. Do not put them in the dryer or dishwasher as heat is one of the ways that we make them.
